It involves various types of videos, Graphic designing, animated GIFs (Graphics Interchange Formats), animation, infographics, deck presentations, UI/UX design, AR/VR and many more.
Graphic Design Vs Communication Design
A very thin line can be observed between Graphic design and Communication design making them different. Concisely, visual communication deals to convey a non-verbal message more effectively involving sense of sight. It also employs various semiotics and gestures to express communication significantly with information and ideas.
Conversely, graphic design deals with problem solving design process. It also involves planning and projection of ideas employing textual and visual content with the combination of basic elements of design.
Communication design requires innovative applications, mainly, new media applications for more effective and creative communication. Visual communication is an art that combines words, thoughts, images, and ideas to express a message or to convey information aiming to produce a particular effect.
Graphic design certainly focuses on creating graphics for websites, advertisement campaigns and marketing collaterals. Whereas, the communicating with consumers using visual mediums, it also involves anything within the domain of visual communication and preparing materials to share information with clients, etc.
