INTERIOR DESIGNING , ARCHITECTURE AND PHOTOGRAPHY COME TOGETHER TO MAKE ART WITHIN ART………….

• Most of us experience famous architecture through photographs. We can all mentally picture buildings like the Eiffel Tower and the Sydney Opera House, even if we haven’t been there. 

Since photography’s invention in 1839, it has played an integral role in representing Interior Designing & Architecture , quickly surpassing drawing as the preferred artistic medium for recording and representation. . “The photographs tend to reflect what’s going on more broadly in the world.” . How photography has grown from the documentary-style images of its early days, to the more experimental shots in recent times.

 Buildings destroyed during the Kobe earthquake in the 1990s. This image was taken in Hong Kong prior to that event. “ elevated perspective from the tower is interesting because you can see the layers and rows of towers behind the towers that you’re immediately looking at.

• Photography takes a step further to interpret Interior Designing & Architecture in several ways. What used to be an accurate portrayal of the structure has now gradually evolved into a manipulation of different perspectives to bring out the interesting elements of a single structure.

• The art of photographing takes on many forms. Whether it is photographing the exterior or interior, many awesome images can be resulted with the correct techniques and more importantly, the observant eye to spot the different points of view. There are two main challenges in photography – Lighting and Image distortion. When photographing the exterior, natural lighting is all you have got and you have to capture the building at its most glamorous moment. Image distortion occurs when the building has lines running horizontally and vertically and they appear distorted. The right equipment and the right angles would prevent that pitfall.

• Interior architecture with repeating patterns and geometric shapes is a bonus to photographers. Employing the use of different camera angles would reveal the beauty of these designs. Architecture with unique and unusual structures also tend to catch our attention. Photography comes into play as it does justice to impressive Interior Designing  & Architecture.
